VENTING ABOUT TURKEY'S RECENT HAPPENINGS.

Turkey: Ah yes, let's ban the internet to silence the people and to make sure they dont know the truth.

Unfortunately, this happened today as well. Why? Because this country is arresting the mayor of istanbul,accusing him of bs like: fake diplomas, fake degrees, and leading an organisation for some reason. Not just that,but also, they did it at a time (yesterday) where the said mayor is considering to become a president of this country. Istg this country is a shitshow.

What is happening right now isn't just a small issue. it's going to affect democracy, or the lack thereof, it's going to affect our voices, the ones that are being silenced by police that abuse their jobs for the sake of bootlicking the government.

Justice is dead in Turkey. The mayor of istanbul was put behind bars, and worse, he was accused of some serious crimes. But unfortunately, even my own country doesn't seem to care.

This is not about him, he is a flawed human being after all. But we have no option but to deal with this sh*tty government.

He was not fairly put on trial, and based on the ovbiously photoshopped "evidence", the "government" was quick to put him behind bars. When students go out and speak up, the police are abusing their power to injure students. Not just that, putting people behind bars for their tweets. This is the exact sh*t I'm mad about. What kind of bullsh*t is this?

AND TURKISH CELEBRITIES ARE HIDING BEHIND ATATÜRK'S QUOTES TO AVOID RESPONSIBILITY.

THE SAME GOVERNMENT THAT IS TRYING TO RELEASE A LITERAL T*RR*RIST, RESPECTING SAID T*RR*RIST.

AND WHAT DOES THE SO CALLED "ACTIVISTS OF THE WORLD" DO? THEY IGNORE TURKEY YET AGAIN. ISTG, IF SOMETHING SIMILAR HAPPENED TO OTHER COUNTRIES, THEY WOULD IMMEDIATELY TAKE ACTION. BUT THEY'RE SILENT WHEN IT COMES TO TURKEY AND IT IS PISSING ME OFF.

Geniuniely, please stop ignoring Turkey and raise awareness for our dying youth and our dying democracy
